He is Risen!

“In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” Then they remembered his words.” Luke 24:5-8

He is risen! Hallelujah!

It is snowing heavy here this morning, that’s right, snowing! We’ve had no snow all winter, and now a few days into spring and the whole landscape is white. I can’t remember ever seeing snow at Easter before. Jonathan reminded me this morning that Jesus makes our sins as white as snow, so, it’s actually quite fitting that it is snowing today. Everything looks beautiful, even the ugliest site, like litter that someone has dropped in our front garden overnight.

Happy Easter my friends!

“Come now, let us reason together,”
says the LORD.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.” Isaiah 1:18

Indeed, He is risen! So, risen we shall we be one day as well, to live in the redeemed creation, with completely redeemed bodies, with the Trinity! Hallelujah!

LOL! You crack me up :-) I certainly hope we have something that resembles a summer this year - in summer that is!
