spring

Spring is finally upon us. I love this time of the year, watching the blossoms form on the trees, and the first of the flowers opening. The daffodils and tulips bring such vibrant colors into the spring scenery. There are a few magnolia trees nearby, and they are quickly flowering now.

One thing I love about spring is how quickly everything seems to come to life again. The tree across the road from us had a few buds on it last week, yet now it is all covered in a lovely bubblegum pink blossom.

I feel like my own life is entering spring at the moment, and I am eagerly awaiting to see God moving. During winter nothing seems to grow, but underneath plants are repairing and replenishing themselves for spring. Many animals who hibernate give birth to their young during winter, just before spring dawns. We can only see all of these things once spring is in her full glory. Likewise God is at work behind the scenes in our lives, and we cannot often see it, until we look back and reflect. God is moving, and his full beauty will be revealed.

This link is a great site - it’s a webcam on Hornby Island in BC viewing a bald eagles nest waiting for the eggs to hatch.
